There are plenty of attractions nearby. Several hiking trails: Old Rag Mt, White Oak Canyon, and Shenandoah National Park. And wineries just a few miles away from the cottage; Blue Quartz (has local wine and is also a craft beer offering called Shot Top brewery), Quievremont Winery, Gadino Winery, Hopkins Ordinary Ale Works and Copper Fox Distillery located in Sperryville. We also have Virginia Bison Company a short distance from the cottage.

At B&A, locals come to meet and work, while hikers and passers through come to energize before a day of exploring, or to share stories after of the adventures they had.
We could show you flashy pictures of a delicious bubbling, wood fired pizza, but we want you to know that each pizza starts in the hands of our highly focused pie-artisans. Each and every pizza is hand formed, carefully topped and skillfully timed to be removed at just the right point.
Second, our pies receive their ingredients. Sourced from neighboring farms, our toppings are the stars of the show. Our dough is made daily from a natural leaven (sourdough starter), toasted crispy, flat bread style in our Mugnaini oven
Three Blacksmiths Restaurant
Three Blacksmiths serves a fixed weekly dinner menu of local, seasonal, handcrafted foods from Rappahannock County, Virginia and nearby. The spacious dining area with its open hearth and kitchen, comfortable seating, candlelight and lavish wood finishes makes for a relaxed, intimate dining experience. With just 20 seats and one seating time, the table is yours for the evening.

Our Golden Touch makes for a smooth, easy-drinking light ale! The malt is balanced by just enough hops to not be too sweet. The ale is crafted with Virginia-grown, two-row English pale malt, with just a little Crystal malt for that golden color. There is just a single addition of tasty Willamette hops.
Located in Madison County, Virginia on scenic route 231, Blue Quartz Winery and Shotwell Run Brewing Co. share a Tasting and Tap room that features estate grown wines, hard cider, and craft beer. Food is available from our kitchen and grill or Food Trucks on site.
The spacious Tasting and Tap Room with expansive outdoor space sits on a knoll overlooking the beautifully maintained vineyard and Old Rag Mountain. We are both kid and dog friendly.
